Suswam, Agbo, Terseer Clinch Benue APC Senatorial Tickets Following Primaries

Benue Afrik24 – The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State has successfully concluded its rescheduled senatorial primaries, leading to the emergence of Gabriel Suswam, Otta Agbo, and Emmanuel Terseer Ukpedah as the party’s official candidates for the state’s three senatorial districts.

The primary election process, which was tightly contested across the state’s geopolitical zones, solidified the party’s lineup ahead of the general elections.

In Benue North-East, former Governor Gabriel Suswam secured the ticket after a decisive vote, positioning him as a major contender for the zone.

Meanwhile, the Benue South senatorial ticket was won by Otta Agbo following a fierce competition among several prominent party stakeholders.

Rounding out the trio, Emmanuel Terseer Ukpedah clinched the nomination for Benue North-West, completing the party’s strategic parliamentary ticket for the state.

Party leadership praised the conduct of the primaries, describing the exercise as a transparent demonstration of internal democracy.

With the candidates now officially selected, the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress is expected to transition immediately into full campaign mode, focusing on uniting various internal factions to present a cohesive front in the upcoming legislative elections.
